Awards Requirements

 

USDF All-Breed Awards

To declare a horse with USDF to receive all-breeds awards the member must send USDF a copy of the horse's breed registry papers and the all-breeds declaration form. The all-breeds declaration form maybe found at the link below. To declare a horse for the 2014 awards year the papers and declaration form must be received by USDF by August 1, 2014.

Once a horse has been declared with USDF and has at least 3 scores from the same level at 60% or higher from at least 2 different competitions it will appear on the list. FPZV will approve the horses that the members are in good standing. The horse must be USDF lifetime registered and owner/rider must have USDF Participating memberships.

Award Categories

Recognition in the following categories will be awarded. Separate awards for Purebred Friesians and Friesian Derivatives will be given.

• In Hand
• English Saddle Seat (Country, Pleasure & Park)
• English Hunt Seat & Hack
• Costume (Period-Armor-Fantasy)
• Western (Pleasure and Trail)
• Driving (Any combination of hitch and discipline)
• Dressage (Dressage Suitability & Dressage Hack & USDF Tests)
• Specialty (Lead line, tandem riding, combination class, English show hack, Walk-Trot)

• Hunter/Jumper Open
• Saddle Seat Open
• Open Western
• Open Halter Class
• Open English Pleasure
